A new super-intimate festival is arriving in Thailand this March.
Taking place on Koh Mak—a tiny, idyllic island only accessible by boat—Thaibreak Festival will bring together some of the world’s top selectors from minimal and techno for three days and four nights of tropical partying, from March 22nd – March 26th, 2018.
Capping off at just 500 people, visitors will be treated to what’s probably the year’s coziest party, with stages on the beach, in local open-air bars and clubs, and on boats for a truly immersive festival experience—with sound powered by Turbosound.
International stars will include Sonja Moonear, André Galluzzi, Mathias Kaden, Tobi Neumann, Dana Ruh, Dorian Paic, Markus Fix and Half Baked’s Julietta. Several Thai techno and house selectors will also be joining, including NK Chang, Mendy Indigo, and Sarayu.
And with 20 years of experience on Koh Mak, the Thaibreak Festival founders have developed a close, personal relationship with the locals. That means parties can go all night and into the morning with no noise restrictions. And food will be locally sourced, with the profits going back into local charities. There will also be an emphasis on keeping Thaibreak eco friendly, with reusable cups and “pack-in, pack-out” rules in place.
While you can’t camp on Koh Mak, Thaibreak offers both budget and premium bungalows, starting at just €12.00 a night (pictured below). And right now, early-bird tickets are on sale for €75.00.
For a limited time, Pulse readers will get 10% off tickets and accommodation by using the code PULSE10 (valid until February 21st).
